Adrian College

Born: January 20, 1998

Sheldon Nolan is from Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada and spent three seasons with the Newmarket Hurricanes of the Ontario Junior Hockey League before attending Adrian College in 2019. He is the son of Donna & Steve and brother to Nate.

Nolan was a member of Adrian College's ACHA Division 1 National Championship team in 2021. He then served as an Assistant Captain for the team during his Junior season and was named Team Captain as a Senior. Nolan graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Business Management and a minor in Economics in the spring of 2023 and was named the Adrian College Outstanding Male Senior Leadership Award recipient in 2023. He also captained Team Canada at the 2023 World Cup of University Hockey in Carta, Romania where he earned the Defenseman of the Tournament award.

The stay-at-home defenseman played a crucial part of the Bulldogs for five seasons and was an instrumental piece to the Adrian College 2024 National Championship team. Upon the conclusion of his fifth season, he earned a spot on the GLCHL First Team and a spot on the National All-Tournament First Team for the third time in his career.

Sheldon, otherwise known as "Shellz" or "Shelly", is the team barber, enjoys frequent naps, and specializes in baking cheesecakes. Nolan returned to Adrian College for the 2023-2024 season to play a fifth year and complete his Master's degree in Sports Management.
