The 2024-25 season marked Brennon Wachter's third season at the helm of the Adrian College Men's ACHA Division 2 hockey team. Wachter was hired in 2022 as the full-time bench boss of the Division 2 team and also holds a spot on the Men's Division 1 coaching staff as an Assistant Coach.
In three seasons behind the bench for the Adrian College Men's Division 2 team, Wachter has coached his team to a 56-18-4 record and three consecutive trips to the ACHA Central Regional Tournament. The 2023-24 season marked as arguably the best in the Division 2 program's history, as the Bulldogs finished with a record of 23-3-1 and closed the season ranked 11th in the nation out of 186 Men's Division 2 teams.
In three seasons as part of the Adrian College Men's Division 1 support staff, Wachter has been part of the 2023 and 2025 National Runner-Up squads and the 2024 National Championship squad.
Before bringing his expertise to the power house Adrian College ACHA hockey programs, Wachter's previous coaching experience included four years as Head Coach of the Northern Michigan University Men's Division 2 program from 2018-2022.
Wachter is from Cheboygan, Michigan and played a couple seasons of junior hockey before three seasons of college hockey in his home state, split between Northern Michigan University and Lake Superior State University. Wachter earned his Associates Degree in Industrial Technology from NMU, part of an an engineering and business-focused background at both NMU and LSSU.
Wachter left Adrian College after three seasons for a new coaching job in the spring of 2025.
