2011 (So.): Appeared in 18 games at pitcher for the Bulldogs while getting the start in 14 of those games...compiled a 10-1 record and a 1.81 ERA in 77.1 innings pitched...gave up 20 earned runs while striking out 73 batters...gave up zero runs in 10 of her 18 appearances...against Rose-Hulman on March 4 she pitched seven innings, gave up zero runs on five hits while striking out seven batters...struck out a season-high eight batters in four innings against Goshen on March 1.

2010 (Fr.): Compiled a 6-1 record with one save in 10 appearances including seven starts and pitching two complete games…had a 2.14 ERA over 32.2 innings…struck out 29 batters while walking seven…pitched a perfect game April 10 vs Kalamazoo while recording a season-high eight strikeouts, the only perfect game in Adrian history…pitched two complete games.

Prior to AC: Attended Midland High School…lettered in softball…named First Team All-Regional, First Team Dream Team and First Team All-District…member of the Second Team All-Valley softball team.

Personal: Majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry…born in Midland, Michigan on January 9, 1991…daughter of Vicki Shafley…sisters Traci and Kelli Shafley, played softball for Indiana State University and Northwood University…favorite food is fajitas.
