In 2017-18, the Bulldogs competed in the senior, collegiate and open collegiate divisions. All three teams had remarkable seasons, with Open Collegiate earning the pewter medal at the 2018 Midwestern Synchronized Skating Championships after an undefeated non-qualifying season, Collegiate earning a silver medal at the US Championships, and Senior representing Team USA for the third consecutive season--finishing fourth at Mozart Cup in Austria and winning a silver medal at Trophy D'Ecosse in Scotland.

Lynch also helped the intercollegiate team earn its sixth consecutive Midwestern Conference Championship. The team is now undefeated in its last 18 consecutive Midwestern competitions and won its second consecutive bronze medal at the 2018 US Figure Skating Intercollegiate Championships. The Bulldogs also crowned six national champions in eight events and brought home numerous national medalists.

Lynch holds a certified rating in synchronized skating with the Professional Skaters Association. As a skater, she has earned a United States Figure Skating gold medal in Moves in the Field, has completed her pre-Gold dances, and passed Novice Freestyle.

Lynch is a 2015 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, with a bachelor of arts in organizational speech communication, plus a business management minor. She was a four-year member of the RedHawks' synchronized skating teams, both a member of Team USA on the junior team and a three-time national champion with the collegiate team. She is also a 2018 graduate of Siena Heights University where she received her master's in higher educational leadership.
