Burt transferred to Adrian College in 2022 after starting her collegiate career at Dakota College at Bottineau in the ACHA Women's Division 2 level. Burt played her final two seasons with the Adrian College Women's Division 1 hockey team before graduating in the spring of 2024.

Burt played a critical part in the team's ACHA National Championship victory in 2024, leading the way for the Bulldogs in goal all season long. Burt posted a 17-6-3 record during the regular season and playoffs, good enough for first in the nation in wins, games played, and minutes played by a goaltender. Burt led her team to the CCWHA Conference Playoff Championship in February before shutting the door at nationals, going 4-0-0 to secure national glory for Adrian. The Saskatchewan product earned CCWHA All-Conference and ACHA All-American honors in her Senior season.
