The Adrian College Athletics Department announced the hiring of Emily Kostielney for the position of Head Coach of the Adrian College Women's ACHA Division 2 hockey team in July 2024.

Kostielney, a native of Canton, Michigan, comes to the Bulldogs after working as an Assistant Coach and Event Photographer for the Livonia United Girls Hockey program last season. Kostielney also has experience as a player, having played for the Central Michigan University Women's ACHA Division 2 hockey team where she was a captain and the team's student president and secretary. Her roles at CMU included streamlining organizational processes by evaluating current systems and implementing improvements, directing change management initiatives that aligned players with evolving team/club objectives, spearheading talent acquisition efforts, attracting top-tier talent to build a high-performing team that broke club records, as well as overseeing all club initiatives to ensure eligibility, financial budgeting, and performance quality.
She enters her first season with Adrian College Women's ACHA Division 2 hockey in 2024-25.
