Maddy Maloney closed her third season, and second as Head Coach, with the Adrian College Women’s ACHA Division 2 hockey program in 2023-24.
Having graduated in 2021 from Adrian College, with her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, she has since received certifications in Personal Training and Sports Nutrition. During her time at Adrian, Maloney spent two seasons as a defenseman for the ACHA Division 1 team where she totaled 25 points in 53 appearances and was named an All-American in 2020. Previous to Adrian College she attended Becker College in Worcester, Massachusetts where she made 52 career appearances for the Hawks’ NCAA Division III hockey team and was a regular on the college’s Dean’s List.
Maloney and her coaching staff have worked tirelessly over the last few seasons recruiting, mentoring, and helping their athletes be the best that they can and will do everything they can for all the girls every season. As Head Coach of the ACHA Women's Division 2 team, Maloney holds a 32-21 record, with trips to the 2023 and 2024 CCWHA Division 2 Playoffs and the 2023 and 2024 ACHA National Tournaments.
Upon the 2023-24 season, Maloney was named the ACHA Women's Division 2 National Coach of the Year, recognizing her and the team's accomplishments throughout the 2023-24 season.
