Don LaSala

Don LaSala begins his third season as head coach at AdrianCollege and has pushed the program to new heights in just a briefperiod of time. LaSala holds a 31-6 (.838) record over the past twoseasons. He has guided the Bulldogs to a school-record 17 wins in2012 and also coached them to a 14-4 record in 2013.

LaSala has an unblemished conference record since taking over theprogram. The Bulldogs were 9-0 during the 2012 season as a memberof the Midwest Lacrosse Conference. They also went 6-0 in leagueplay during 2013 in the inaugural Michigan Intercollegiate AthleticAssociation campaign.

The Bulldogs not only captured regular season championships butalso tournament titles during the past two seasons. By way ofwinning those tournaments, Adrian has qualified for the NCAADivision III Tournament. Adrian lost a double-overtime thriller,12-11, at Denison in 2012, but picked up their first NCAATournament victory in 2013 with a 14-11 home win over Otterbein.Last season ended in the second round with a loss at No. 2Dickinson.

LaSala came to Adrian after a successful stint as assistant coachat Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. He served as assistantcoach beginning in August 2007 and also was the assistant to theassociate athletic director starting in August 2010.

While at Clarkson, LaSala worked with goalie training and as theteam’s offensive coordinator in 2011. Prior to that, heserved as the team’s defensive coordinator from 2007-2010. Heserved as recruiting coordinator and worked with game preparationand scouting as his other primary duties for the NCAA Division IIIprogram.

LaSala also spent one year stints as assistant coach at Washington& Jefferson College (2006-2007) and The College of Brockport(2005-2006). He also served as assistant women’s lacrossecoach at SUNY Canton (2003-2004).

LaSala earned his Bachelor of Science degree in businessadministration-management concentration from The College ofBrockport in May 2005. He also obtained his Master of Education ineducational leadership from St. Lawrence University in May2011.
