Adrian College has gained a new IHSA Equestrian team coach forits 2012-2013 school year: Emily Nett.  In her first year asan IHSA coach, Emily brings a dressage background to the team honedas a former IDA rider for Johnson and Wales University, inProvidence, RI.  

Where do you coach and how long have you beenthere?
I coach at Adrian College and this is my first year as an IHSAcoach.

What makes you proudest about your currentteam?
Our current team is really coming together to welcome myself andnew team members as we get this season started.

Were you an IHSA rider in college? If so, who did youride for?
I rode on the IDA team at Johnson & Wales University inProvidence, RI.

Who was your mentor/inspiration as a young rider andwhy?
My inspiration as a young rider was Daryl Kinney, who I grew upwith and is now a barn manager for one of the best eventing stablesin the north east and has begun her career as an Intermediate eventrider.

What has been your most memorable IHSAexperience?
So far I've just loved meeting my new team and look forward tosharing many memories with them.
