Franco Van Oordt '24 joined the Adrian College rowing staff in January of 2025. Van Oordt graduated from Adrian College in December of 2024 and was a member and team captain of the Adrian College men's rowing team. Van Oordt was a member of the 2021 team that won the MARC Championship and the 2023 and 2024 team that qualified for the IRA National Championships.
 
During his time on the team, Van Oordt managed the Adrian College rowing team social media accounts and assisted in the organization of the team's annual Erg-a-Thon that raises between $4,000-6,000. He was also named a IRCA Scholar-Athlete last season.
