The 2023-2024 season marks the second year for Justin Snyder as Head Coach of the Men's ACHA Division 3 hockey program and third overall at Adrian College.
Snyder is from Temperance, Michigan and grew up playing in the TOYHA travel program, before playing varsity hockey at Bedford High School from his Sophomore year to Senior year, where he was named team captain for his last two years. He earned All-Conference awards in all three years before moving on to play for the 18U Toledo Cherokees (tournament team). He then played four years of Junior 'A' hockey in Wisconsin, Indiana, and Ohio. He was also named team captain on each of the junior teams he played for.Â
Snyder started his coaching career in the 2015-2016 season with the University of Toledo Men's ACHA Division 3 hockey team as an Assistant Coach, where he stayed for two seasons. He then came to Adrian College in 2021 as an Assistant Coach for the Men's ACHA Division 2 hockey team before being named Head Coach of the ACHA Division 3 program for the start of the 2022-2023 season.
Snyder has also worked as a food and beverage restaurant manager for the last twelve years and currently manages at The Heights Restaurant in downtown Toledo.
