Assistant Coach, Nathan Goetting, enters his ninth season on the Adrian College men's wrestling staff in 2024-25.

Nathan Goetting has been a professor at Adrian College since 2008.  He helped bring wrestling back to Adrian College after 32 years in 2015.  He served as a special assistant coach on the men's team for five years before becoming one of the college's NCAA Faculty Athletic Representatives in 2020. Coach Goetting wrestled as a heavyweight for Birmingham Groves High School in Beverly Hills, Mich. During the 1992-93 season he led the team in take downs, placed third in the Metro Suburban Activities Association league tournament, and was named all-area honorable mention by the Birmingham Eccentric.

Coach Goetting also helps coach at the Clinton (Mich.) Wrestling Club for which his nine-year-old son, Lucas, was a 2018 Michigan Youth Wrestling Association (MYWA) All-State and National United Wrestling Association for Youth (NUWAY) All-American wrestler. In 2018, 41 Clinton youth competitors qualified for the MYWA State Championships by placing in the top four at the MYWA East Regional tournament.

Coach Goetting lives in Adrian with his wife, Amanda; sons, Lucas and Sam; and dogs, Emile and Kaiser.
