Rebecca Gerfen joins the Adrian College coaching staff in the summer of 2024.
Gerfen is a 2024 graduate of Framingham State University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in business management with minors in marketing and international business. From 2019-2024, Gerfen was a member of Team USA and represented the country internationally in figure skating. She began skating for the Hayden Synchronized Skating Teams which is known as one of the top skating clubs in the world. From there, she began competing in international competitions where she had the opportunity to compete in Croatia, Italy, France, Austria, and Canada. Before retiring from skating, Gerfen was on one of the first teams in the Senior Elite 12 division which became a new division in synchronized skating with a potential future in the Winter Olympics.

Gerfen began coaching in 2018 where she worked for the Hayden Recreation Centre in Lexington, Massachusetts serving as a youth coach and the assistant show director. She worked with athletes ages 4-14 where she worked on proper path placement and different learning styles. She created and taught routines for each athlete and team to prepare for large crowd performances.
