The Adrian College Athletics Department announced the hiring of Will Smith as Assistant Coach for the Adrian College Women's ACHA Division 1 hockey team in July 2025.
Smith, an alumni of Adrian College, spent five seasons playing for the Men's ACHA Division 2 and Division 3 Bulldogs from 2020-2025. The native of Basking Ridge, New Jersey graduated from AC with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a focus in Sport Management, in 2024 and then took his playing talents overseas where he spent time with HC Tel Aviv in the IEHL.
After his playing career concluded, Smith then joined the Adrian College Men's ACHA Hockey support staff for the remainder of the 2024-25 season where he assisted all three teams with recruiting, film sessions, practices, and other daily tasks. Going forward, Smith will continue to contribute to the Men's ACHA Hockey realm, but will now take on full action with the Adrian College WD1 Bulldogs under Head Coach, Brendan Ramboer.
2025-2026 will be Smith's first season with the team.
