Adrian College

Chris Cook begins his first season as assistant defensive backscoach at Adrian College. Cook was a four-year letterman for theBulldogs at safety. During his senior season, Cook ranked fifth onthe team with 46 tackles including 19 solo stops. He started in all10 games and recorded two interceptions for 35 return yards. Cookbroke up three passes and also forced a fumble. He was also namedto the MIAA All-Academic List.

As a junior, he was named Second Team All-MIAA in the secondaryand also received MIAA All-Academic status. He led the team withfour interceptions for 48 return yards and tied for third in theMIAA in picks. Cook ranked third on the team with 61 tacklesincluding 29 solo stops. He started in all 10 games and tallied aseason-high 11 tackles at DePauw on Oct. 16. He also scored atwo-point conversion returning a PAT pass and had six unassistedtackles against Defiance on Sept. 11.

Cook started in all 10 games as a sophomore in 2009 andcollected 46 tackles including 26 solo stops. He recorded seventackles and two pass breakups against Lake Erie. He also talliedsix tackles and a 68-yard interception return at Kalamazoo.

Cook played in seven games as a freshman and recorded twotackles, two pass deflections and one interception.

He majored in physical education at Adrian College and preppedat Harford High School where he was named First Team All-State in2007.
