Adrian College

Nate Sarkissian begins his first season as assistant baseballcoach at Adrian College after a successful four-year career for theBulldogs which ended in 2011.
Sarkissian got a chance to crack the lineup midway through hisfreshman year and never gave up his outfield spot.

He finished his career with a .343 batting average ranking 10thall-time at Adrian College. Sarkissian also played in 152 gameswhich ranks ninth all-time. He scored 130 runs which is tied forfourth at AC and also collected 170 hits, 33 doubles, six triplesand 10 home runs. He ranks fourth all-time with 120 runs batted inand stole 31 bases which ranks fifth as a Bulldog.

Sarkissian was named First Team All-MIAA as a sophomore andsenior and was Second Team All-MIAA as a junior. He tied for theleague lead with 31 RBI as a senior and also ranked fourth in theMIAA in runs and on-base percentage.

Sarkissian is responsible for recruiting as well as his otherduties as an assistant coach for the Bulldogs. The South Lyonnative graduated from Adrian College in May 2011 with abachelor’s degree in criminal justice. He graduated cum laudeand was also a member of the MIAA All-Academic List during hiscareer.

He has helped with Midwest Baseball Sports Academy Camps whileat Adrian College and has coaching experience helping withcollegiate teams in the summer during his playing days.
