ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College men's soccer team avenged a loss earlier this season to Alma College by defeating the Scots 2-0 on Saturday.

After a scoreless first half, the Bulldogs got on the board in the 59th minute when Eric Drake's shot from 25 yards out was deflected off of the Alma College goalkeeper and Alex Bergmooser was there to fire it past the keeper.

The Bulldogs' second goal of the game came 12 minutes later when Eric Drake took a free kick from just outside the 18 yard box and bent it past the Alma defense.

Nick Siekirk picked up the shut-out victory for the Bulldogs, notching five saves in the win.

With the victory, the Bulldogs move to 5-8-0 on the year with a 3-5-0 record in MIAA play. The Adrian College men's soccer team will next host conference foe Albion College on Wednesday, October 17 at 6 p.m.
