The Adrian College women's hockey team earned a 4-1 victory over visiting Chatham University in their debut game.
It only took the Bulldogs 3:44 to score the first goal in Adrian College women's hockey history on Saturday afternoon when Lynn Loechli connected with Stacey Kempson for the score.
Adrian would add three more goals in the second period to cushion their lead to 4-0. Jessica Grubbs and Keegan Castrillo both had power play goals while Jodi Myers added an even strength goal in the five and a half minute scoring frenzy for the Bulldogs.
The visiting Cougars got on the scoreboard in the third period on a power play goal by Kate Black.
The two teams will compete again tomorrow, Sunday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Arrington Ice Arena.
