The Adrian College men's soccer team dropped a tough MIAA contest to the Tri-State University Thunder on Tuesday afternoon.
The Thunder grabbed the 1-0 in the 32nd minute of play when Justin Dow scored an unassisted goal. The Bulldogs wasted little time in responding, knotting the score 1-1 on a Tom Maxwell goal at 36:15 in the game. Adrian took the lead just over a minute later when Eric Drake connected with Tom Maxwell again for the Bulldogs' second goal of the night.
Tri-State, however, came out strong after halftime, tying the score at 2-2 in the 47th minute on a Nathan Butler goal. The Thunder would score what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 70th minute of play.
The Bulldogs fall to 5-10-1 overall and 3-7-1 in MIAA play. The next game for the Adrian College men's soccer team is Saturday, October 27th against Kalamazoo at the Performance Stadium at 6:00 p.m.
