ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College men's soccer team dropped their final home match of the 2007 season to Kalamazoo on Saturday evening by a score of 3-1.

The visitors from Kalamazoo grabbed the lead in the 16th minute on a Scott MacDonald goal. After taking the 1-0 lead into the halftime break, the Hornets struck again for their second goal of the night in the 60th minute.

The Bulldogs got on the scoreboard in the 82nd minute when Tim Merwin blasted a free kick from 43 yards out into the back of the net, bringing Adrian within a goal of tying the game. The Hornets quickly responded, scoring their third and final goal of the night in the 86th minute of the game.

The Adrian College men's soccer team is next in action on Wednesday, October 31 for a conference match-up at Calvin College at 4:00 p.m.
