The Adrian College women's hockey team broke open a 0-0 game by scoring two goals in the second period en route to their sixth overall victory of the season on Saturday.
After the scoreless first period, Steph Dimini got the Bulldogs on the scoreboard when she scored her second goal of the season on a power play opportunity with just under four minutes left in the period. The Bulldogs quickly struck again, this time Stacey Kempson found the back of the net for Adrian.
In the third period, Dimini scored her second goal of the game at the 6:52 mark, securing the 3-0 win on the road for the Bulldogs. Dana Timm picked up the win in goal, stopping all 27 shots she faced on the afternoon.
The Bulldogs converted two of their six power play opportunities while killing all 10 of the Pioneers' power plays on the day.
The two teams will meet again tomorrow, Sunday, November 11 at 2:00.
