The Adrian College women's hockey team snapped a three-game winless streak and sophomore goaltender Erin Roach got her first shutout of the season in a 4-0 win at Chatham. Roach stopped all 19 shots that she faced on the day and four different Bulldogs scored a goal.
Jessica Grubbs got the Bulldogs on the board just 43 seconds into the second period with an assist from Olivia Rork after Adrian fired nine shots on goal in the first period. Shana Davis upped the lead to 2-0 at the 7:39 mark of the second with assists from Nicky Futers and Steph Dimini. Dimini increased the lead to 3-0 at the 11:35 mark of the third period with assists from Futers and Kelly Salis. Alexis Glenn finished up the scoring at 19:19 with an assist from Davis. All four goals were scored at even strength.
Adrian outshot Chatham, 43-19, including a 20-5 edge in the third period. Adrian went 0-for-2 on the power play and held Chatham to 0-for-3 on the advantage. Davis led the team with eight shots on goal and a +3 rating.
