Final Stats

ADRIAN, Mich. - The Adrian College men's soccer team fell to 3-5 on the season after being defeated by the Olivet Comets 2-1 on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs are now 1-2 in conference play.

Adrian got out to an early lead after Matt Nelson scored the first goal of the game at the 20:45 mark in the first half. Eric Drake earned the assist on Nelson's second goal of the season.

The Bulldogs let their one goal lead slip away in the second half as Chase Anthes tied the game at 1-1 in the 47th minute for the Comets. Olivet was able to take the lead late in the game when Graham Lockwood scored a break away goal. The Bulldogs tried to comeback but there was not enough time, and the Comets were victorious by the final score of 2-1.

The men's soccer team will continue conference play when they travel to Holland, Mich. to play Hope on Saturday, Oct. 4th at 2:00 p.m.
