Final Stats

RIVER FALLS, Wis. - The Adrian College women's ice hockey team upset #9 UW-River Falls by the final score of 5-3 on Saturday afternoon. The game was tied at 1-1 after the first period. Each team scored two goals in the second period, but the Bulldogs controlled the third with two more goals to earn the win.

Stacey Kempson scored an unassisted goal to get things started for the Bulldogs. River Falls scored a power play goal to even the score at 1-1.

River Falls scored first in the second period, but Lyndsay Laxton's power play goal tied the game for the second time. Andrea Soloko was credited with an assist on the goal. Jessica Grubbs scored a short handed goal with time running out in the second period.

Grubbs scored two more goals in the third period to score a hat trick. She now has 13 goals this season. With the win the Bulldogs improve their overall record to 10-5-1.
