Final Stats

ANGOLA, Mich. - The Adrian College men's basketball team defeated Trine University 79-53 on Wednesday night. This win marks the largest margin of victory against an MIAA opponent this season.

The Bulldogs were able to open up a lead due to consistent shooting from the floor. Adrian shot 48 percent in the first half, and increased their lead by shooting 59% in the second half.

Desmond Young was 4-for-7 from three point range and 3-for-4 from the charity stripe. He finished the game with 21 points and five rebounds. Matt Wayne hit all seven of his shots from the floor to net 14 points. Michael Staley also scored 14 points and added seven assists. Jordan Parks impacted the first half of the game for Adrian. He provided a spark off the bench with nine points.

The Bulldogs will return to action with a home game against Hope on Jan. 24th. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
