Adrian Slips Below .500 with 2-1 Loss at Trine

ANGOLA, Ind. - The men's soccer squad dipped below the .500 mark on Saturday afternoon at Trine with a 2-1 loss to the Thunder. The Bulldogs just can't seem to establish a winning streak going up and down most of the season. The team is 4-5-1 overall and now 1-2-1 in the MIAA.

Curtis Holcom got Trine on the board with 1:16 before halftime with an assist from Femi Adediji. Adrian had 13 shots in the first half compared to five for Trine.

Billy Cremeans knotted the score at 1-1 in the 54th minute unassisted as Adrian fired a couple of shots and finally got the rebound equalizer.

Adediji scored the game-winner at 62:31 with an assist from Danny Coppola. Adediji's shot hit the right post and bounced left into the goal.

Adrian finished with 27 shots including 10 shots on goal. Alex Pavlika made five saves in net for Adrian.
