Final Stats

ADRIAN, Mich. - The men's hockey team welcomed a new league opponent to Arrington Ice Arena on Friday night as Lake Forest got the same treatment as everyone else in the MCHA falling 10-2 to the Bulldogs.

Adrian (5-0, 5-0 MCHA) once again got off to a hot start scoring 1:09 into the game as Jeremy Klaver scored at even strength with assists from Joel Workman and Kyle Frieday. Klaver was far from done on this night as he finished the game with a career-high five points.

Lake Forest kept it close for the next nine minutes, but Adrian increased their lead to 2-0 as Zach Graham scored on the power play at 10:53 for his second tally of the season with assists from Mike Dahlinger and Chris Stansik on a 5-on-3 advantage after Lake Forest committed back-to-back penalties.

Adrian moved their lead to 3-0 early in the second period on a beautiful short-handed effort by Eric Miller. Miller crossed up the defender with a move between the opponents' legs and shot five-hole while falling down at 1:14 for his fourth of the year.

Graham and Miller each added a goal later in the period as Graham scored again on the power play with assists from Miller and Klaver at 7:29. Miller added to the Adrian lead 58 seconds later at even strength from Stansik and Jeff Young giving AC a 5-1 lead.

Sam Kuzyk ended the second period scoring on the power play in front of the net with assists from Dahlinger and Brad Houston at 16:49 as the Bulldogs led 6-1 after two periods.

Klaver's second of the night at 10:52 of the third gave AC an 8-1 advantage on a 4-on-4 goal. Houston and Young finished off the onslaught in the third with even strength goals at 14:59 and 16:34 respectively.

Brad Fogal set an MCHA goaltending wins record with his 38th victory. He is now 38-0 during his career in league tilts. He also picked up his 50th overall win between the pipes with 23 saves on the night.
