ADRIAN, Mich. - The women's hockey team returned home after playing their first six games of the season on the road and the Bulldogs claimed a 6-0 non-conference win against Chatham University.

The team had six different goal scorers on the afternoon and tallied two goals in the first, one in the second and three more in the third. Shana Davis scored her fourth of the season at 8:06 of the first at even strength on a tip-in in front of goaltender Brenn Scott. Ashley Gniewek and Prenella Semma each had an assist on the goal.

Kelly Salis made it 2-0 in favor of Adrian at 15:38 on the power play. Her shot from the middle point went through several bodies before finding the back of the net for her first of the season. Stacey Kempson and Jessica Grubbs each had an assist for Adrian.

Kempson made it 3-0 at 16:09 of the second at even strength taking a pass from Salis at mid-ice and skating in on Brenn. She made a nice individual move to stuff home the puck under Brenn's back as she fell into the net.
