The men's hockey team ran their overall winning streak to 35 games on Friday night with an 8-0 win at Concordia (Wis.). The squad had eight goals by eight different players with three guys scoring their first goals of the year. Junior goaltender Brad Fogal earned his first shutout of the season and the 11th of his career making 15 saves.
The Bulldogs continued to strive on the power play going 3-of-7 including a 2-of-2 effort in the third period. Adrian outshot Concordia, 33-1, in the first period and took a 3-0 lead into the first intermission. Mike Dahlinger scored at 2:10 of the first with an assist from Jeremy Klaver. Brad Houston scored on a power play goal at 9:11 with assists from Sam Kuzyk and Chris Stansik. Kyle Frieday scored the third goal of the period at 14:14 with assists from Jeff Young and Drew Satterley.
After a scoreless second period, Adrian scored five goals in the third on 22 shots. Kyle Crawford, Eric Roman and Satterley each scored their first goals of the season in the third. Zach Graham and Kuzyk also scored in the third. Frieday had two assists in the third. Shawn Skelly also had two assists in the final period. Adrian had 74 shots on goal for the game.
