CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - The men's tennis team under first-year head coach Emilie Sechaud began indoors for 2009 and dropped a pair of matches on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell by identical 9-0 scores to Augustana and host Wabash College.

Orlo Yeagley played at one singles and played a great second set before falling 6-2, 7-6. David Blaker did not fare as well at two singles with a 6-0, 6-0 loss to Greg Ruth of Augustana. Anthony Honeywell, Alex Ziajor and Branz Brandenberger all played their first singles' matches for Adrian. Honeywell at three singles was blanked 6-0, 6-0 and Brandenberger had the most competitive matchup at six singles with a 7-6, 6-1 score against Chris Fowler.

Ziajor and Brandenberger teamed for an 8-5 decision at two doubles while the other two pairs managed to win three games against Augustana.

Wabash also proved to be quite a challenge as Adrian could not win a set during the match. Dominic Merollis took six games at five singles against Billy Evans in the closest match.
