ADRIAN, Mich. - The men's tennis team ran into a buzzsaw against Kalamazoo on Tuesday falling 9-0 at the Merillat Center. The first place Hornets dropped just five games in doubles play as Orlo Yeagley and Anthony Honeywell fell 8-3 against Josh Rinaldi and Tom Cafmeyer at one doubles. Dominic Merollis and David Blaker fell 8-2 at two doubles against Joe Unger and Clay Bartelt.

The singles matchups saw Adrian win six games in a total of 12 sets against the Hornets. Merollis dropped a 6-0, 6-3 decision at five singles against Jerrod Howlett. Kevin Proshwitz and John Reinertsen battled in six singles and Kalamazoo won 6-0, 6-2.
