The men's tennis has started the MIAA season against two of the tougher opponents and as a result are 0-2, 2-12 overall after a 9-0 loss at Calvin on Tuesday afternoon. The Bulldogs had a 3-0 deficit after doubles having won five games in the three matches. Alex Ziajor and Kevin Proshwitz dropped an 8-2 decision at three doubles against David Hillner and Jon Goorhouse.
The singles matches had a better showing in the lower half as Dominic Merollis dropped a 6-1, 6-4 decision at five singles against Roland Eldridge. Proshwitz also claimed four games in two sets at six singles against Vashon Wright.
