Watson's Hat Trick Leads Adrian to 7-1 Win at MSOE

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - Junior forward Kyle Watson recorded his first career hat trick on Friday night as Adrian rebounded from a three-game losing streak with a 7-1 win at MSOE. Watson also had an assist to tally a four-point night. He scored all of his goals in the third period in the last 16:24.

Adrian led 3-0 after the first period as Blake Barkwell, Zach Graham and Drew Satterley all scored even strength goals in a span of 6:59.

Jordan Keizer scored the first goal of the third period after a scoreless second period by both teams. Watson then began to fire the puck into the back of the net at an alarming pace. He scored at 3:36 with assists from Eric Miller and Jeff Young to put AC ahead 4-1. Watson scored again at 8:11 with assists from the same two guys.

Sam Kuzyk's power play goal at 18:10 made it 6-1 with assists from Quinn Waller and Mike Dahlinger. Watson's third of the night also came on a power play at 18:56 with assists from Miller and Bobby Hineman. Miller finished the game with four assists. Brad Fogal made 24 saves to earn the win in goal for the Bulldogs. He saved 19 shots in the first two periods.

There were few penalties in the contest as Adrian went 2-of-2 on the power play while MSOE was 0-of-3. Ryno Linder took a five-minute major for boarding at 15:45 of the third which resulted in both Adrian man-advantage goals.
