Box Score KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Adrian College
men's soccer team win streak ended at three as they fell to
Kalamazoo on Wednesday 3-1. With the loss, the Bulldogs are now
tied for third in the MIAA conference with a record of 3-2 and 4-7
overall.
The Hornets jumped out to an early lead with a goal in the
12th minute. The Bulldogs rallied back s sophomore Billy
Cremeans scored for the fourth game in the row when he netted
his fifth goal of the season off an assist from freshman Morgan
Copeland in the 22nd minute. Kalamazoo added another
goal right before halftime and knocked in the final goal of the
game with less than two minutes to go in the game. Cremeans had an
opportunity several minutes later as he lobbed a shot over the
keeper but a Kalamazoo defender came in late to knock the ball
away.
Creameans had three of the four Adrian shots on goal for the
game, while Copeland had the other. Senior goalkeeper Alex
Pavlika made two saves on the night.
The Bulldogs will return on action on Saturday, October
9th as they travel to face MIAA opponent Olivet at 2:30
p.m.
