ADRIAN, Mich. - Kalamazoo College shocked Adrian on Saturday afternoon by pulling off a 73-68 victory against the Bulldogs. AC is now 11-11 overall with a 7-7 mark in MIAA play.

All four seniors scored in double digits for the Bulldogs. Jennifer Perrin scored a game-high 18 points, and Anita Stamps impacted the game with 16 points, seven rebounds, six assists and five steals.

Elysia Norris ended the game with 13 points and Ashley McClarren added 15. Both players would eventually foul out of the game, hurting Adrian's inside game.

Nyemade Cooper led the way for Kalamazoo despite playing through foul trouble. Cooper scored 16 points and grabbed five rebounds in 20 minutes of action. Katrina Carlsen hit three shots from behind the arc to end the game with 15 points, and Lauren Rosenthal just missed a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

The game was a battle from start to finish. There were 18 lead changes and 12 ties. AC edged Kalamazoo in the first half 26-24, but the Hornets won the game by outscoring Adrian 49-42 in the second. The Adrian defense struggled. Kalamazoo only averages 51 points per game in conference play, and they nearly put that many points up in a half against the Bulldogs.
