Final Stats

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The men's hockey team won 5-1 at Lake Forest on Friday night. The Bulldogs scored a pair of power play goals in the first period and added a goal in the second and two more in the third.

Jeremy Klaver scored at the 16:01 mark of the first with the man-advantage for his seventh goal of the season. Shawn Skelly and Quinn Waller each had an assist. Skelly gave Adrian a 2-0 lead at the 2:11 mark for his 17th goal of the season. Eric Miller and Klaver each had an assist.

Kyle Crawford scored his third goal of the season at 7:55 of the second with an assist from Zach Graham and Sam Kuzyk. Andrew Dovey scored his fourth goal of the year at 14:08 of the third with an assist from Mark Gertsakis. Joel Workman finished the scoring at 9:46 of the third for his sixth goal of the season. Mike Dahlinger and Skelly each had an assist.

Jeremy Cross got the start in goal and played all 60 minutes. He allowed one goal and made 28 saves including 12 in the second period. He is now 1-0 in net this season. Adrian outshot Lake Forest, 44-29, with a 16-10 edge in the third.

Adrian finished the game 2-for-6 on the power play while the Foresters went 0-for-7 with the man advantage. The Bulldogs defeated the Foresters for the third time this season and have outscored them 26-8 in the season series. These same teams will play tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.
