Box Score ANGOLA, Ind. – The Adrian College
men's soccer team got their first conference victory of the
season as they defeated Trine University 2-0 on Saturday. The
team's record is not 2-6 overall and 1-1 in the MIAA.
Senior goalkeeper Alex
Pavlika got his first shutout of the season. The Thunder did
their best to score, as they had eight shots on goal, but Pavlika
turned them all away, including six in the first period alone.
The offense of Adrian was led by sophomores Cazz
Warren and Billy
Cremeans. Warren scored the first goal 20 minutes into the game
off an assist from fellow sophomore Jamie
Brower. Warren also had a match-high five shots, including two
on-goal. Cremeans scored the other Bulldog goal in the
25th minute, his first of the season, from an assist by
another sophomore Travis
Smith.
The men will play host to MIAA opponent Albion College on
Tuesday, September 28th at 7:00 pm.
