Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. – In a physical game that included 23 combined fouls, the Adrian College men's soccer team suffered a 4-0 shutout loss to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Hope College tonight (Oct. 1) at Performance Stadium. With the loss, the Bulldogs drop to 1-7-1 overall and 0-5 in the MIAA and with the win, the Dutchmen improve to 5-3-3 overall and 2-2-1 in league play.
Hope scored one goal in the first half and three in the second.
Junior defender Jamie Brower and freshman midfielder Shaquille Gordon each earned a shot on goal for the Bulldogs.
In the net, goalie freshman James Ruby accumulated five saves on the night and now has 40 on the year.
Adrian looks to get back in the win column as they travel to Trine University on Wednesday (Oct. 5). Kickoff is slated for 4:00 p.m.
