Adrian Men's Tennis Falls 8-1 at Heidelberg

TIFFIN, Ohio - The men's tennis team fell 8-1 at Heidelberg University on Saturday afternoon in their first contest against a NCAA Division III program this season. On Friday, the Bulldogs dropped a 7-2 decision at Cornerstone in Grand Rapids.

The lone point for the Bulldogs came at one doubles as the tandem of Cameron Hamilton and Ryan Delacey defeated Bobby Lochotzki and Cliff Goetz 8-3. Hamilton also had the best singles match at two singles where he went to three sets with Patrick Ryan Earl before falling 2-6, 7-6, 10-7.

"Although the results were not what we were hoping for, there were a lot of positives from our men's team," said head coach Adam Albertsen. "Cameron Hamilton and Ryan Delacey played great doubles and continued to improve with each match."

The Bulldogs return to the courts on March 9 against Manchester College for a home match at 4:00 pm.
