SAINT PAUL, Minn. - The NCHA has announced their All-Academic team and six Adrian Bulldog Women's Hockey players were named to the list. Senior Shana Davis (Cassle Berry, Fla./Gilmour Academy) was named to the list for the second time, the only Bulldog to receive the honor twice. Davis is majoring in psychology and business.

Also making the list was junior Ashley Chinn, sophomore Sarah Connelly, senior Emily Engel, junior Ashley Gniewek, and senior Brittany Zeches.

Chinn (Fort Bragg, N.C./Susquehana Rapids) is a junior forward who is majoring in health studies. Connelly (Commerce, Mich./Niagara University) is a sophomore forward currently majoring in health studies. Engel (Mentor, Ohio/Ohio Flames) is a senior goalie currently majoring in biology and minoring in psychology. Gniewek (Southgate, Mich./Honeybaked Hockey Club) is a junior forward who is currently majoring in exercise science with a minor in business. Zeches (Westland, Mich./Wayne State) is a senior goalie currently majoring in elementary education with a minor in mathematics.

The Bulldogs are competing this weekend in the semi-final round of the NCHA tournament. Adrian will face-off against Wis.-Superior this afternoon at 4:05 pm. If the Bulldogs were to win, they would play in the final tomorrow night at 4:05 pm against the winner of Lake Forest and Wis.-River Falls.
