Box Score MEQUON, Wis. - The men's hockey team (18-1-3, 14-0-3) extended their nation-leading unbeaten streak to a dozen games with six unanswered goals against Concordia University (6-16, 6-11) with a 6-1 win at the Ozaukee Ice Center Friday night.
The No. 7-ranked Bulldogs were led by Zach Graham's hat trick, two of which were scored during a four-goal second-period.
After Adrian went down 1-0, early in the first period, Kevin Balas tied the game at 1 with less than six minutes to play in the opening period.
Graham would get his first of the night on the power play almost seven minutes into the second period and Josh Ranalli would put Adrian up 3-1 less than 20 seconds later.
Shaquille Merasty would continue to pad his nation-leading rookie totals with a goal late in the period and Graham would add his second of the night with less than four minutes left in the second.
The only scoring in the final period was Graham's third of the game and 12th of the season.
Adrian goaltender Scott Shackell made 23 saves in the win as five different Bulldogs registered multiple-point games (Graham, Ranalli, Merasty, Justin Basso, and Shawn Courtney).
These same two teams will go at again at 5 p.m. tomorrow.
