Box Score ADRIAN, Mich. – The Bulldogs finished their weekend series with Buffalo State Saturday afternoon. Adrian bombarded the Bengals with 54 shots and controlling the puck for nearly all 60 minutes.
The Bulldogs scored one goal in each period and shutout the Bengals once again as they improved their record to 12-3 with a 3-0 win.
Kelsey Kusch scored her 17th of the season at the 7:46 mark of the first period from Danielle Smith and Hannah McGowan. Danielle Smith scored her 7th of the season at the 11:13 mark of the second period from Lauren Turner and Kusch. Sydney Smith scored her third at the 11:46 mark of the final period from Abby Kibler and Sarah Shureb to complete the scoring for the afternoon.
Brooke Gibson earned her first career shutout by stopping all 10 shots that she faced and improved her record to 4-1 on the season.
The Bulldogs will play next January 17 when they host Concordia (Wis.) for a 4 p.m. faceoff.
