DAYTON, Ohio - The women's bowling team competed in their second tournament of the season in the Orange & Black Classic on October 18-19. The team got off to a rough start in game one on Saturday, but quickly rebounded shooting a 981 in game two. Adrian dropped off a little bit in game three to shoot an 860 and then struggled in games four and five. The team finished on a strong note shooting an 873 to finish the day in 15th place out of 24 teams.
On Sunday, the team bowled 16 baker games and tried to move up a bit in the standings. The team put together three solid blocks shooting an 806 for their second block which moved them up to 14th place, which is where they would end up finishing for the tournament. Freshmen Noelle Scheuer and Jennifer Kelly led the team finishing in 37th and 52nd place out of over 147 bowlers.
