ADRIAN, Mich. – The Bulldogs met Olivet College Saturday afternoon. The teams played to a 29-28 halftime score, but the Comets pulled ahead in the second half as they took the Bulldogs down, 73-61. This loss leaves the overall record for Adrian at 5-10 with a 1-6 mark in the MIAA.

The Bulldogs battled the Comets tough in the first half as they trailed by only one point, 29-28, at the break. Antoinea McElroy led the Adrian attack in the first half as she totaled seven points and added three rebounds. Adrian overcame a 19-12 deficit at the 7:36 mark to take a 9-2 run and tie the game at 21.

The second half saw the Comets pull ahead from a 32-31 Bulldog lead with an 8-0 run that put them in the lead for the remainder of the game. McElroy added eight more points while Amber McCullough totaled 7 points and five rebounds for the half, but the Comets secured their road victory, 73-61.
