NORTHFIELD, Vt. - Plattsburgh State (2-0) used three first period goals to upend Adrian (1-1) 3-0 on the second day of the East/West Hockey Classic. Plattsburgh State's Bridget Balisy scored the game's first goal on a power play only three minutes into the first period.

Despite the loss, Adrian goaltender Jade Walsh played well saving 21 shots of 24 for the game. The Bulldogs also edged their opponents in face offs 28-26.

Adrian struggled during power plays going 0-for-5 for the game. Plattsburgh goaltender Camille Leonard was perfect in net stopping all 22 of Adrians' shots.

The Bulldogs return home on November 7 to host St. Norbert. This will be Adrians' home opener. The game is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
