COLUMBUS, Ohio--The Adrian College women's bowling team made its 2016-17 American-Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference Tournament debut over the weekend, placing ninth in the 20-team field at the Bowling Palace.
Adrian was led by junior Sierra Lasky with a 29th-place finish by totaling 887 pins for five games, or averaging 177.40.
Sophomore Marissa Land also had a good singles performance in 33rd place with an 867 for five games and 173.40 average.
Adrian second-year head coach John Essenmacher III said: "It was another good weekend for us, starting off the conference tournament season on the right foot."
Division I Wright State won the team title with a 6,830.
