ADRIAN, Mich.--The Adrian College men's tennis team made quick work of visiting Heidelberg University on Monday, blanking the Student Princes 9-0 at the Craft Tennis Complex. The Bulldogs improve to 2-1 on the season while Heidelberg was playing in its fall debut.
Senior Joey Loselle and junior Brandon Brom paved the way for Adrian as double winners in the top-2 singles and No. 1 doubles spots.
Also double winners were junior Jeff Sophiea and freshmen Tanner Wilcox, Nathan Waterbury.
Freshman Kyle Haines made his collegiate debut a successful one by helping Waterbury take an 8-2 No. 3 doubles victory.
Junior Jonathon Rhind earned the Bulldogs other point at No. 6 singles, dropping only one game in a straight-sets win.
Adrian wraps up the fall portion of their 2016-17 schedule on Wednesday at NAIA-scholarship Lawrence Tech.
