Box Score FOND DU LAC, Wis. - The Bulldogs tied a school record with six power-play goals in the game, one short of the NCAA record, in an 8-4 win at Marian (Wis.) and improved to 3-0 on the season to remain undefeated. All four of the Sabres' goals were on the power-play, putting the game total to 10 between the teams.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First Period: Adrian 3, Marian 0
• Senior Captain, Kaylyn Schroka put the Bulldogs on the board first, scoring off the assist from Sarah Shureb and Kristin Lewicki 10:02 into the opening period to put Adrian up 1-0.
• The duo of Lewicki and Shureb added to their point total 1:27 later, assisting Sydney Smith's goal on the power play to put the Bulldogs up 2-0.
• Courtney Tyll assisted Lexie Tzafaroglou with less than five minutes remaining to increase the Adrian lead, 3-0, heading into the first intermission.
• The Bulldogs registered 18 shots in the first period while allowing only four shots.
Second Period: Adrian 6, Marian 1
• All four goals scored in the second period were power play goals. The first one went to the Sabres just 22 seconds into the period when Emily Everson scored from Nicole Niemi's assist to cut the Adrian lead to two goals, 3-1.
• Rose Krasofsky would put the Adrian lead back to three goals, 4-1, scoring 7:05 into the period off the assist by Hannah Dalrymple.
• Lewicki would score her first goal of the night, assisted by Shureb and Schroka, to increase the Bulldog lead to four goals, 5-1.
• Shureb would score her first goal of the night to end the scoring in period two. She was assisted by Schroka and Lewicki, giving Adrian its biggest lead of the game, 6-1.
• The Bulldogs outshot the Sabres again in the second period, 12-8, bringing the shot totals for the game to 30-12 in favor of Adrian.
Third Period: Adrian 8, Marian 4
• Much like the second period, all the goals in the third period were also on the power play. The Bulldogs scored the first two, Tzafaroglou the first (unassisted) and Shureb the second (Lewicki).
• Marian would score the final three goals. Paige Johnson tallied the first (Rian Lennon & Hannah Koniar), Lennon scored the second (Morgan Bolin & Johnson) and Jessie Meluch scored the final goal of the game (Jill Schneider).
• The teams combined for 10 power play goals in the game (Adrian six, Marian four) with the final nine goals in the game all being scored with the man-advantage.
• Marian won the shot total in the third period 11-9, Adrian won the game total 39-23.
TOP DOGS
• Lewicki (1,4) and Shureb (2,3) led the Bulldogs with five points. Shureb's five points and three assists were both career highs. Lewicki's goal was her third game-winning goal of the season.
• Schroka scored three points (1,2) and went 8-14 in the faceoff circle.
• Tzafaroglou scored two goals on just three shots.
• Smith and Krasofsky each tallied one goal.
THE OPPOSITION
