Box Score STEVENS POINT, Wis.--Sophomore Connor Armour and freshman Bud Madej each potted goals in the third period to help visiting Adrian College to a hard-fought 4-4 overtime tie with Wisconsin-Stevens Point in a non-conference battle of top-5 NCAA Division III men's hockey powerhouses on Friday night.

= Madej picked the perfect time to register his first career collegiate goal when he got the game-tying marker with 5 minutes and 25 seconds in regulation to force the overtime period.
= Sophomore Bryan Yim had a goal and an assist.
= Junior alternate captain Taylor McCloy and classmate Kyle Brothers both chipped in two assists.
= Sophomore goalie Kevin Entmaa (6-1-2 record) had a game-high 27 saves.
THE OPPOSITION
= Lawrence Cornellier scored twice for the Pointers.
= Left winger Kyle Sharkey led all student-athletes with six shots on goal.
= Max Milosek (5-1-2), the reigning D3hockey.com National Team of the Week goaltender, had 21 stops.
HOW IT HAPPENED
= Adrian twice overcame two goal deficits at 2-0 in the first period and 4-2 in the third.
= The Bulldogs went 2-for-4 on the power-play, with each tally pulling the team within one goal of the deficit.
= With his team down 4-2 midway through the final stanza, Armour got the comeback started with his fifth goal of the season on the power play at the 10:09 mark. Then 4:26 later Madej forced OT with his first career point finding the back of the net.
= UWSP had the advantage in the five-minute extra session, outshooting Adrian 5-2 but Entmaa stood tall to preserve the draw.
= The Pointers led 2-0 after 10:23 on goals by Cornelllier and Willem Nong-Lambert 4:55 apart.
= On the power play, Yim cut the deficit to 2-1 with his Bulldog-leading eighth goal 1:32 after Lambert. That snapped a scoreless streak of over 130 minutes for Milosek.
= In the second period, Vinny Post--who also made an appearance on the D3hockey TOW this week--tied it 2-all at 5:48 with assists from defensemen Cory Dunn and junior alternate captain Blake Butzow.
= Later in the second, UWSP went back up by two on a pair of unassisted goals from Cornelllier at 11:05 while shorthanded and Eliot Grauer at 14:42 with the Pointers on the power play.
= The Pointers held a 31-25 advantage in shots on goal, including 12-5 in the first period when Entmaa and the Bulldogs stayed close.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
= This marked the first tie in the teams' 11-game history and the series is now knotted at 5-5-1.
= Adrian leads the season series 1-0-1 after doubling up the defending national champions, 6-3, over the Thanksgiving weekend in Adrian.
= Brothers inched closer to the 100-point plateau with two assists to his credit. He now lists 12th on the Adrian career scoring list with 95 points.
= The four goals for UWSP are the most for an Adrian opponent this season.
