KENOSHA, Wis. – The Adrian College men's volleyball team was swept by a one-loss Carthage team in MCVL action on Friday night (5-25, 9-25, 9-25). Eduardo Aleman led the Bulldogs offensively with eight kills. Avery Johnson also contributed with seven kills.

Javes Esclera and Joseph Deets paced the Adrian offense with six and four assists in the losing effort. Adrian struggled offensively, recording negative attack percentages in all three sets (-.158, -.261, -.286).

Max Bongratz led Carthage in kills with 10 for the match. Matt Reinsel recorded 15 assists to set the tone for the Red Men.

The loss gives the Bulldogs a 0-5 record to start the season and a 0-1 start to conference play. The team will play their second straight road contest tomorrow when they face Milwaukee School of Engineering. The match is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m. CST.
